Kurniawan, Rudy Hartono (born August 18, 1949), known as one of the most famous Indonesian badminton players in the history of the sport and is considered to be one of
the greatest badminton players of all time. He championed the world's most prestigious badminton championship and all-England championship for eight times. His name went into the Guinnes Book of World Records (in 1982). He retired as a badminton player in 1982.
